That's the crux behind her and fellow England international Fran Kirby's partnership with Just Eat for the launch of 'The Queen's Header' , a pop-up pub based in Angel, Central London, that exists solely to champion women's football. Opening its doors from July 22, the pub arrives just in time for England's first two Women's World Cup group stage matches against Haiti and Denmark and will see Duggan and Euro 2022 winner Kirby provide in-game analysis for the opening match while visitors can tuck into treats from Greggs, Joe & The Juice, Krispy Kremes and LEON. "I can't wait," Duggan says. "Who would've thought we'd be here now and pubs have got women's football on? It's crazy. It's so good. And it's great that brands like Just Eat are on board supporting the women's game, as they have done in the past as well." Pubs focussed solely on women's football are not exactly in vogue. But the fever surrounding the Women's World Cup following last summer's European championship and the game's exponential growth creates what Duggan believes is the perfect springboard to capitalise on women's football's popularity and make it more mainstream at pubs.
