Hollywood icon Reese Witherspoon has revealed that her sex scene with Mark Wahlberg in 1996 movie Fear “wasn’t great” and that she “requested a stunt double” takeover for the intimate scenes
Reese Witherspoon has revealed her true feelings about her sex scene with fellow actor Mark Wahlberg in 1996 movie Fear.
The movie follows Nicole Walker, played by Reese, who meets charming David McCall, played by Mark, at a nightclub and the two fall in love with each other. However, things take a turn when David reveals his darker side.
A sex scene takes place between Reese and Mark’s characters and while the experience wasn’t great, the now 47-year-old, who was 19 at the time of filming admits that it wasn’t “traumatic” but it “wasn’t great.”
“I didn’t have control over it,” she said looking back on the scene, which showed her character having an orgasm. “It wasn’t explicit in the script that that’s what was going to happen, so that was something that I think the director thought of on his own and then asked me on set if I would do it, and I said no.
