Arsenal fans were left furious after the club’s website crashed during their friendly against Nurnberg.
Supporters were eagerly anticipating the Gunners’ clash with the Bundesliga 2 side on Thursday, but couldn’t watch the opening few minutes due to a server issue. Hundreds of fans issued their frustration on social media with many demanding a refund after paying £6.99 to watch the game.
One said: “@Arsenal how can you charge fans to watch and not facilitate neither the app nor the website is working sort this out.” Another added: Stream down…paid to watch this and nothing is working. Even their website is down. @Arsenal how do I request a refund? This is a joke!”
