 It's at this point we met Peter's character, who is wearing a black wig that has a kind of Shaggy from Scooby Doo vibe. He tells the now-fearful men: 'That's right, I have your grubby full-on confessions,' while waving around a phone. Things quickly escalate as suddenly he's holding a giant knife, and telling the men to 'turn around and face the f*****g window.' His aggressive voice is definitely a far removal from when he softly croons Mysterious Girl. Later in the scene, Peter who is simply described as 'the doctor' during the credits is holding a handgun. It's safe to say this character is not your average NHS worker. Peter Andre seems to be transitioning from pop icon to movie star, and the trailer for his latest venture is very intriguing – albeit a little confusing.
His new short film Last Respects is a dark comedy set in 1979, and the 50-year-old is playing an Australian doctor.
He lived down under for most of his childhood, so he’s got plenty to base the former off, and his wife Emily Andre, 33, is a doctor. Although, after watching the trailer we don’t imagine the character was in any way inspired by her!
