New York Jets fears confirmed ahead of first season with Aaron Rodgers

The NFL appear to have forced the New York Jets to appear on the show ‘Hard Knocks’ after the team’s head coach publicly pleaded to not feature on the popular documentary series this preseason

The New York Jets have been confirmed as the team who will feature on NFL Films and HBO produced show ‘Hard Knocks’ – despite them publicly admitting that they had no interest in being the chosen team.

The NFL were forced to chose a team to be on the show after multiple sides had turned it down – including the New Orleans Saints, Washington Commanders and Detroit Lions. New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh stated publicly they hoped to not be chosen, but the league has ignored their wish and will document their pre-season in August.

The popular documentary runs throughout the month and into the first week into September, which airs on NFL Network and Sky Sports in the UK. The show gives fans a behind-the-scenes look at an NFL team during training camp, filming a franchise during pre-season games.

The show has become popular with many fans, with it’s final two episodes in particular being a favourite – where certain players followed across the show are told whether or not they’ll be making the 53-man roster for the upcoming season, or whether they will be released.
