Undercover cop Spider has been lying low ever since he helped destroy Griff's (Michael Condron) gang. However, in recent episodes of the ITV soap, he was given some news. Spider was told that he needs to leave Weatherfield due to the fact Griff wants to get revenge on him. This left him wondering what to do about Toyah, who was busy wondering if Spider was thinking about getting back with his wife after finding emails and proof that he had been looking at houses near her. The happiness didn't come immediately for this couple, as Toyah was still wondering why Spider had been looking at houses in the South. The beloved character then told Toyah everything, saying that his safety is under threat in Weatherfield and that he probably needs to leave. Unsure of what to do, Toyah took a risk and ended up agreeing to Spider's proposal, saying that he's absolutely worth it.
