The well-known presenter, who has not been named, was accused of giving more than £35,000 to the anonymous teen for the imagery. While the alleged victim at the centre of the allegations is now 20 years old, the situation is said to have begun when they were 17. It was later confirmed by the Metropolitan Police that 'no investigation' is underway. And there’s another to add to the list, as an awkward technical glitch occurred during a broadcast of President Biden meeting King Charles.
Ahead of the important meeting, the channel was airing scenes of Windsor Castle, when suddenly, the scenic view was replaced with coloured bars and a clear disruption.
