ESPN analyst Stephen A. Smith weighed in on dating rumours surrounding NFL legend Tom Brady and celebrity influencer Kim Kardashian after they were spotted mingling at a party last week
ESPN pundit Stephen A. Smith has defended Tom Brady after the former NFL quarterback was reportedly spotted flirting with Kim Kardashian.
Brady recently divorced ex-wife Gisele Bundchen and now has plenty of time on his hands after retiring from the NFL. Kardashian finalised her divorce from Kanye West last year and reportedly sought to buy a home in the Bahamas near one of Brady’s vacation properties.
Smith, who hosts The Stephen A. Smith Show and appears regularly on ESPN programming, said there would be “nothing wrong” with Brady and Kardashian being together, should that transpire. He said the pair should be allowed to date if they want, amid rumours they got along well at the event.
“Tom Brady and Kim Kardashian. You know, she’s been divorced. They’re just friends, ain’t nothing going on,” Smith said. “My point is, what if it was? Now, I don’t have a problem with that. Tom Brady, do your thing, bro. I mean, do your thing. My point is. if Tom Brady ends up, you know, getting his groove on – I’m quite sure we shouldn’t have a problem with that. I’m really quite clear. There’s absolutely, positively nothing wrong with Tom Brady if he was with Kim Kardashian.”
