 Hollyoaks has confirmed that the Cunningham's Grande Bazaar is set to get a new owner after a suprise sale is agreed next week. The market, which has been owned by Tom and Cindy Cunningham (Ellis Hollins and Stephanie Waring) since being built a number of years ago, has been lying derelict for months. The complex was destroyed by Norma Crow (Glynis Barber), who drove her vehicle directly into the structure during a Mother's Day crash earlier this year, with subsequent scenes confirming that Cindy hadn't been paying the insurance. In a bid to get her hands on the funds, the entrepreneur decided to rob a bank with some assistance from Grace Black (Tamara Wall) and Zara Morgan (Kelly Condron), but the heist spectacularly failed, with Grace taking the fall for the crime. Cindy, meanwhile, haas been the subject of much concern, after it came to light that she had stopped taking her bipolar medication and, later this week, she receives an update about the market. Rafe Harcourt (Chris Gordon) is the new owner! The news comes as a shock to Sienna Blake (Anna Passey), who is concerned about Cindy's mental health, as is Tom, who vows to put a stop to the sale, rushing out to speak to Cindy. Tom, horrified, wants nothing more to do with his sister, but he soon changes his mind when he realises just how much she's struggling with her mental health.
