According to the Staten Island Advance , a man targeted the store on Veterans Road West near Bloomingdale Road. Approachig the counter, he said: “Empty the f****** register. Empty it, quick quick. The NYPD are investigating (Image: Getty) ‘Take the cash out, underneath the tray and everything,’ he demanded. The clerk took some money out of the register and threw it onto the counter.  Despite the man saying he wouldn’t hurt the shopworker, the employee was taking no risks as the gun continued to be pointed in their direction. The man said: “You got a family, don’t worry, leave the dollars. “This is going back to the community.” The man then told the clerk to “have a good f****** night” before leaving. It is unclear how much cash the figure managed to escape with. The NYPD confirmed Monday that investigators are still looking for the suspect, described as about 6–foot–2 and 160 pounds with short black hair, last seen wearing dark-colored clothing.
