Broadcaster Jeremy Vine has taken to social media to state he has sought legal advice and will be taking action against people who falsely claim he’s the scandal-hit BBC presenter
Jeremy Vine has threatened to sue people who have falsely claimed he is the mysterious BBC presenter who has been suspended.
In recent days, social media has been rife with speculation as to who could be the presenter who has been suspended by the corporation after allegedly paying for sexually explicit images of a teenager. Now, Vine, 58, who hosts a Radio 2 lunchtime programme has slammed claims it may be him.
Jeremy was one of the first presenters to take to social media to dismiss claims he was the man in question shortly after Rylan Clark also denied the allegations which circulated on social media.
Now he has claimed he will be taking legal action against anybody who repeats the defamatory allegations. His comments come after a now-deleted Twitter account claimed Vine was the bloke in question.
