BBC announce star-studded Women’s World Cup line up as Alex Scott and Gabby Logan roles confirmed

The broadcaster is set to show 33 live games across BBC TV and iPlayer, with the tournament getting underway on July 20

The BBC has confirmed who will front its coverage of this summer’s Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.

The broadcaster is set to show 33 live games across BBC TV and iPlayer, with the remaining matches being shown on ITV. The tournament kicks-off on the BBC on July 20, with live coverage of host nation New Zealand facing Norway in Auckland.

England’s crucial second group stage game against Denmark (9.30am, 28 July) will also be live on the BBC, as well both World Cup semi-Finals and the final. And the broadcaster has unveiled the star-studded line-up that will be charged with bringing viewers all of the latest updates from down under.

Gabby Logan, Reshmin Chowdhury and Alex Scott, who will also work as a pundit, will lead BBC coverage across TV and iPlayer, while Juliette Ferrington and Vicki Sparks lead BBC Radio 5 Live’s team in Australia.
