Manchester United are embarking upon a new era ahead of the 2023/24 season, with David de Gea’s exit after 12 years ready to spark a mini exodus under Erik ten Hag
Manchester United have begun their preparations for the 2023/24 season â and Erik ten Hag has made his feelings clear on the squad.
Ten Hag is embarking upon his second season at United following his arrival from Ajax and he is now stamping his authority on things. There was a fresh feeling at the first training sessions of pre-season this week, with £60million new signing Mason Mount involved for the first time.
United will soon head off to Norway, where they will play Leeds in Oslo, but they are yet to welcome back some of their key players, who were given an extended break following their exertions with their national teams.
By the time United head off to the United States on a pre-season tour they will hope to have some new faces in the squad, while others could well move on.
