The mother, who went to The Sun newspaper with her allegations, said she 'felt sick' whenever she saw the presenter on TV and complained to the BBC seven weeks ago but was unhappy with their response. The Mirror reported last night that the accused presenter partied with BBC bosses at an awards ceremony after the allegations were made. "If this man was aware of what was hanging over him he certainly didn't show it," a fellow party guest said. The reports have led to frenzied speculation on social media with many BBC stars choosing to speak out and clear their names. The first big name star to distance himself from the scandal was former It Takes Two host and BBC Radio 2 presenter as he warned trolls: "Keep my name out ya mouth." Rylan, who is currently filming for a new TV show in Italy, hit out after seeing his name among those being touted around on Twitter hours after the initial report dropped. "Not sure why my names floating about but re that story in The Sun - that ain't me babe. I'm currently filming a show in Italy for the BBC, so take my name out ya mouths," he warned.
