In response to the claims, broadcaster Piers, 58, took to Twitter to share his own thoughts on the allegations. He wrote: "This is a huge scoop and a massive scandal that will rock Britain." The former Good Morning Britain presenter has now taken aim at the entire organisation for their coverage of the allegations, branding it 'ridiculous'. He responded as one Twitter user shared a screenshot from the BBC News, writing: "BBC host asks BBC reporter standing outside the BBC about allegations against unnamed BBC star. BBC reporter says they "haven't been able to confirm" whether the BBC presenter has been suspended by the BBC." Retweeting the post, Piers branded the whole handling of the scandal: 'Ridiculous'.
