Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer apologise as Alastair Campbell swears on Sunday Brunch

Sunday Brunch hosts Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer were left shocked and forced to apologise after Alastair Campbell swore live on air. Tony Blair’s former Communications Chief was on the show to promote his new book But What Can I Do? When he committed the faux pas just after 10am. ‘One of the most important messages in the book is that the three most important letters in the word activism is ‘act’. Doing stuff,’ he said, before letting slip, ‘Sitting there on your sofa and just saying he’s a t***…’ Simon could be heard saying ‘woah’ as Tim chimed in to say, ‘We’ve got to apologise for that.’ Both presenters were visibly shocked by his slip up but Alastair seemed unfazed simply saying: ‘Sorry, Beg your pardon, beg your pardon,’ before continuing on with his train of thought.
