Child among 34 people wounded by missile strike on residential complex in worst attack yet on Lviv
At least five people died after Russian missiles destroyed an apartment building in Lviv, in the worst strike on the city since the war began.
A child was among the 34 people who were also wounded, in what a Ukrainian official described as a “direct hit on a residential building” late on Wednesday night.
Volodymyr Zelensky posted a video online showing buildings with parts of the roof and upper floors destroyed, windows smashed and rescuers searching through the debris for survivors.
The Ukrainian president said: “Unfortunately, there are wounded and dead. My condolences to the families. There will definitely be a response to the enemy. A tangible one.”
