Tweeting to his 256k followers, he said: ‘Interested to see my number of followers has gone down again. “Apologies to those I have offended by saying….. not very much. Goodnight to the few of you who are left!!!’ Jeff, 68, left his Soccer Saturday role on Sky Sports back in April after 30 years with the broadcaster. Rachel took to Instagram to celebrate the occasion by sharing an image of the pair with her 544k followers, captioning it: ‘Can’t believe this guy left us more than 11 years ago, but it’s so great to finally have the gorgeous Jeff Stelling back in the studio in dictionary corner this week! You never forget your first, I was so lucky to have started in telly with a pro and a gent like Jeff. On air from August 21st. And make sure to tune in this week too, it’s our series finals and they’re pretty special!’ Fans of the show couldn’t contain their excitement as they commented on the snap. The Telegraph has recently reported that Jeff is in talks with both the BBC and Amazon to present their football coverage.
