"I cannot thank you all enough for making my experience with @idealworld.tv nothing but bliss. We cannot forget our viewers and loyal customers without you we were nothing. "To those who hired me 10 years ago as a guest to this past year and believing in me to present my own shows I could not have done it without each and everyone of you." He continued: "3 hours of live, non scripted, no ad break off the cuff television is definitely exciting. "Things can be scary when something ends but rest assured when one door closes another one opens. "A very sad end to a beautiful era of television." Earlier this week, it was revealed the shopping television channel had gone bust, with the majority of its staff being made redundant. Administrators at Kroll have taken over the business. Managing director of Restructuring at Kroll, Michael Lennon, said this was due to the sharp decline in viewers. 'Over the last few years, the Direct Response TV (DRTV) sector globally has suffered a decline in viewer and customer numbers as consumer spending habits changed," he said. He continued: 'Whilst Ideal World TV had brought in a significant number of new brands and retail partners to the channel over the last year, overall trading was not strong enough for the business to continue in its present format.
