Jadon Sancho offered as transfer makeweight with Erik ten Hag ‘intent’ on Man Utd exit

Manchester United have already made their first summer signing, but Jadon Sancho is among the players who may need to leave to free up funds for further new arrivals

Jadon Sancho could become a makeweight as Manchester United look to keep alive their hopes of a move for Harry Kane, it has been claimed.

United have already made their first signing of the summer, landing Mason Mount in a deal worth up to £60million. With that sum representing roughly half their summer transfer budget, a number of players have been earmarked by manager Erik ten Hag for potential sales to raise further funds.

One of those, England international Sancho, is believed to be available for around £45m. Another option, however, could see him used in a part-exchange deal to bring Harry Kane to Old Trafford.

According to The Independent, Sancho is one of four senior stars who Ten Hag is looking to offload. The others – Fred, Scott McTominay and Harry Maguire – have received reported interest from within the Premier League.
