He also claims that his home has become infested by flies and bluebottles because of the dog waste being left outside. Derek says he has complained to the SSPCA and reported the issue to Link Housing officers, but the situation has not changed. He said: "I have lived at this address for the last 18 years with my wife and three daughters. We got this house through social work back in July 2005 as I was house bound in my previous house due to many stairs. "The tenant who has now got the flat above us has been completely anti-social with the following: letting his dog foul in front of our living room and bedroom windows, and leaves it lying until he can be bothered to pick it up. "Link housing staff or homeowners complain to him about this, which he takes great offence at. "He leaves the dog mess in bags at the side of the stairs to his flat. We cannot have our windows open for fresh air as the smell from this is unacceptable, as is the infestation of flies and bluebottles in our home."
