"A man was walking with his dog when both he and his dog were attacked by three other dogs. Anyone with information should get in touch by one of the below means quoting occurrence 2300182452." PC Ben Brookfield added: "The man has suffered injuries to his hands and legs and his dog died as a result of the attack. "We are appealing for any witnesses that saw three Belgian mixed husky breeds – one jet black; one black and white; the other brown and white and all wearing K9 harnesses – in the area around the time of the attack to come forward and assist us with our enquiries.
