Eric Lin was reported as missing from the Greater Manchester area. Police believed he could have caught a bus into Cheshire. Cheshire Constabulary shared a number of appeals since Eric disappeared on Sunday, July 2. But Greater Manchester Police confirmed a body has in Warrington. Formal identification is yet to take place, reports the Manchester Evening News . Police said there are believed to be no suspicious circumstances and that Eric’s family have been informed. A spokesperson said: “Greater Manchester Police can confirm that sadly a body has been found this afternoon (Thursday 6 July) in the Warrington area of Cheshire. There are believed to be no suspicious circumstances. A formal identification is yet to take place, but Eric’s family have been informed of the latest development.” Detective Chief Inspector Gareth Davies of GMP City of Manchester North district said: ‘Firstly, our thoughts remain with Eric’s loved ones at this difficult time. Formal identification is yet to take place, so we would ask that they have privacy whilst the investigation continues.’
