Diego Forlan has been impressed with his compatriot Darwin Nunez in the Premier League so far, although believes he can and will improve at Liverpool.
Nunez arrived at Liverpool from Benfica over the summer in a big money move worth an initial £64m, but could rise to as much as £85m.
The 23-year-old’s progress was hampered by an early red card against Crystal Palace for a headbutt, while he has also gone under the radar due to the blistering start to life in England made by Manchester City striker Erling Haaland.
However, Nunez has scored five goals in his first 10 Premier League appearances and nine goals in 18 games across all competitions, so it has been a solid start and former Manchester United striker Forlan thinks he has been good.
