Police swarm Birmingham city centre after double stabbing

Police at the scene of the double stabbing (Image: Birmingham Live)Two teenage boys were stabbed outside a cinema this morning, police have confirmed. The stabbing occurred shortly before 8.30am on Thursday, November 17, on New Street in Birmingham, outside the Odeon cinema. The victims, both 17 years old, suffered serious injuries and were rushed to the hospital.West Midlands Police cordoned off the scene, and inquiries are ongoing, reports Birmingham Live.In a statement, police said: “We’re investigating after two teenagers were stabbed in Birmingham city centre this morning (17 November).”It happened outside the Odeon cinema on New Street just before 8.30am. The young men, both 17, have been taken to hospital with serious injuries.”We’ve cordoned off the area and fast-track enquiries are ongoing to try and find those responsible.”We’d urge anyone with any information to contact us via Live Chat on our website or call 101.
