Republicans have won a tiny majority in the US House by taking a 218th seat which is set to make it more difficult for President Joe Biden to push through his policies
Republicans have won back control of the US House of Representatives which is set to make it more difficult for President Joe Biden to push through his policies while also blunting a flurry of investigations.
It comes a day after Donald Trump announced that he will be running for the next presidential elections in 2024.
Now more than a week after the midterm elections, Republicans secured the 218th seat needed to flip the House from Democratic control.
The full scope of the party’s majority may not be clear for several more days – or weeks – as votes in competitive races are still being counted.
