Tesco announces change to yellow sticker items

Like many supermarkets, Tesco offers a reduced price on items of food that are close to their expiry date or in damaged packaging. Asda for example only allows one or two items with its Just Essentials branded to ensure everyone gets a chance to purchase the item – reduced or not. Be kind to the staff – some supermarkets have had to take drastic measures and corner off the reduced area for members of staff to be able to mark down the items without customers bustling through to grab a bargain.
