NEWS… BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT
Brendan Fraser has confirmed he will not attend the Golden Globes as to do so would make him a ‘hypocrite’.
The acclaimed actor made his long-awaited return to filmmaking this year with a starring role in The Whale, which has earned him multiple standing ovations at screenings across the world.
And while the movie, and Brendan himself, has been tipped for major awards including Oscars and Golden Globes, the Mummy star says he would not attend the Globes if invited.
It comes after the actor alleged that in 2003, he was sexually assaulted by Philip Berk, the former president of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, at a luncheon.
