Apex Legends Twitch viewership hits new low after Modern Warfare 2 launch

Apex Legends fans seem to be switching to Call Of Duty, as the game’s Twitch audience has increased dramatically in the last few weeks.

It looks like 2022 is going to be Call Of Duty’s year, as not only has Modern Warfare 2 proven to be a commercial success, but Warzone 2 also keeps adding to the battle royale side of things.

Apex Legends’ Season 15 has added a new map, called Broken Moon, and defensive legend Catalyst to the rotation but it might not be enough to keep fans watching on Twitch.

One person who definitely won’t be making the switch any time soon is Nickmercs, who openly dismissed Warzone 2 in favour of Apex Legends, as he claimed ‘it doesn’t show promise.’

Although Warzone 2 has had its fair share of criticisms, it’s still Apex Legends’ main competitor, so there won’t be a fuller picture of how well-liked it is until a few weeks after launch.
