Jennifer Siebel Newsom responded ‘this is not When Harry Met Sally’ when asked to act out her encounter with disgraced Hollywood producer
California’s first lady was on Wednesday asked to show a court how she faked an orgasm to more quickly end her alleged rape by disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein, leaving the former actress in tears.
Jennifer Siebel Newsom, who is married to Governor Gavin Newsom, is currently testifying at the ongoing Los Angeles sex abuse trial of the producer, who is already serving a 23-year sentence in New York for rape and sexual assault.
She appeared appalled when asked by defence attorney Mark Werksman to demonstrate how she “indicated her pleasure” to “expedite” the alleged incident at a Beverly Hills hotel in 2005.
Mrs Siebel Newsom, visibly annoyed, replied, “This is not ‘When Harry Met Sally’. I’m not doing that”, referring to a scene in the 1989 movie in which Meg Ryan’s character memorably faked a loud orgasm in a busy New York restaurant.
