People, remain calm, but after years of rumours it has been confirmed that Disney officially has a third Princess Diaries film in the works.
A whopping 21 years after the first film shot Anne Hathaway to stardom – and 18 years after the sequel with a young Chris Pine, it looks like audiences will get to revisit our favourite Princess of Genova.
Supergirl and Reacher writer Aadrita Mukerji is penning the screenplay, according to The Hollywood Reporter, while producer Debra Martin Chase returns for a third time.
Sources also excitingly report that it will be a continuation of the two previous stories with Anne Hathaway, rather than a reboot.
