Logan Paul cancels boxing comeback as YouTuber provides injury update

YouTube star Paul had confirmed his intention to fight in January after his WWE title fight, but he suffered torn knee ligaments which has seen him cancel the proposed outing

Logan Paul has cancelled his planned boxing comeback in January after suffering a knee injury in his WWE title fight.

Paul competed in a WWE championship match against Roman Reigns at the Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia earlier this month. However he was defeated by Reigns, with his misery compounded after confirming he had torn multiple knee ligaments during his high-flying exploits.

The YouTube star had previously suggested he would return to the boxing ring, and was set to feature on his friend KSI’s latest Misfits Boxing card which is pencilled in for January 14. However Paul has now claimed his latest setback could even affect his future with the WWE.

“So I think I am going to put out a YouTube video,” Paul said during an episode of his podcast Impaulsive while delivering an update on his future. “Things have changed now and this is a s***ty injury it is very bad. It could have been worse and that is the good news. This affects my future with the WWE, it affects my boxing future which I already had to cancel a fight.
