Man Utd told to let Cristiano Ronaldo rot and make his life a misery

Man Utd transfer news: United have been urged to make Cristiano Ronaldo’s life a misery (Image: GETTY)Manchester United should block Cristiano Ronaldo’s exit from the club in January and “make his life a misery”, claims ex-Manchester City defender Danny Mills. The Portugal superstar has hit out at United in a bombshell interview with Piers Morgan this week and Mills has laid out how he would punish him.Ronaldo is out of contract at Old Trafford at the end of the season. But it appears the two parties will go their separate ways before then.Ronaldo claims he has been disrespected by Erik ten Hag and that he feels he is being forced out of the club by both the manager and senior executives. The 37-year-old can be fined up to £1million, which equates to two weeks’ wages. But Mills believes they should not grant the forward his wish of leaving and playing somewhere else. The pundit would keep Ronaldo at the club for as long as possible and punish him in every way they can.READ MORE: Man Utd target Mbappe has already been sent transfer message by VaraneMills told talkSPORT: “I don’t think he’ll play for Manchester United again. But I’d be tempted if I was Manchester United to just let him rot.”I would go to every single length to fine him as much as possible, bearing in mind a Premier League contract is 70 pages long. You have to ask to do interviews, you cannot bring the club into disrepute, you cannot disrespect the club.”There are a million different clauses in there that say you have to do as you’re told and perform. I think it’s still in there that you have to go in the community for a certain amount of hours a week – I would make him do that.”If you’re not going to do it, you’re going to get fined. And I would keep taking money off him.DON’T MISSMan Utd have ’15-day window’ to seal transfer for Maguire replacementQatar World Cup organisers ‘break promise’ as England fans learn price for beerChelsea owner Boehly given two-month window to sign Dembele at half price Man Utd transfer news: Cristiano Ronaldo has hit out at United in an interview this week (Image: TALKTV)
