Cristiano Ronaldo has been criticised by sections of the Manchester United fanbase for putting out a promotional tweet during the backlash surrounding his Piers Morgan interview
Cristiano Ronaldo has been blasted by Manchester United fans after he took to Twitter to promote his new collection of NFTs while the scandal surrounding his latest interview rages on.
Ronaldo’s announcement comes in the middle of a media storm surrounding his upcoming explosive, tell-all discussion with Piers Morgan Uncensored. Trailers for the discussion have already been released and have shocked the footballing world with how brutally honest the forward has been.
United’s iconic number seven has taken aim at just about everyone associated with the club, including manager Erik ten Hag, but Ronaldo is clearly not feeling any kind of scrutiny as he continues to flog his own merchandise. His tweet for the new line of NFTs read: “My NFT collection is coming on November 18, exclusively on @Binance.
“This is your chance to join my Web3 community and own iconic moments from my career. Sign up now with code RONALDO to prepare, and receive a surprise when the collection drops.”
