Two Russian rockets landed in a village in eastern Poland, not far from the Ukrainian border, killing two people, as the country’s top politicians called an emergency meeting thought to be over the incident
Two Russia rockets landed in the NATO state Poland and killed two people, a senior US intelligence officer confirmed.
The rockets fell in Przewodow, a village in eastern Poland, close to the Ukraine border where they exploded.
Local media reported the rockets were strays and said they hit a farm, where grain was drying, with police and the army racing to the scene in the aftermath.
The incident could have serious ramifications because Russian missiles have killed in a NATO country, during its ongoing war in Ukraine.
