First he had to tell Matty (Ash Palmisciano) and Nate (Jurell Carter), telling them that Moira was finding it hard to cope with Cain in prison and had to get away from the village. Obviously he didn't mention the bit about Cain being in prison because he was covering for the fact that Kyle had been the one who pulled the trigger and shot Al Chapman (Michael Wildman). Matty was upset, but Mackenzie insisted that the important thing was that they kept the farm and the garage running. Then he braced himself to face Cain. Cain was in no mood for lighthearted banter (is he ever?) so Mack got down to the reason for his visit. Cain wanted to know why Moira had gone. 'You know why,' Mack said, adding in a whisper, 'Kyle.' Cain was furious that Moira had told her brother about Kyle and slammed his fist on the table. 'She told you and she just ran.' Mack explained that Moira had been 'barely keeping it together.' He said it was better that Moira left rather than people seeing her fall apart and start to ask questions. Luckily for Cain and for us, Natalie J. Robb has revealed that her character will be returning to try to hold her family together.
