Autopsies on the four students are to be carried out on Wednesday, according to Latah County Coroner Cathy Mabbutt, but she has denied the case was a murder-suicide at the University of Idaho
Four university friends found dead have been identified by police as two 20-year-olds and two 21-year-old.
Ethan Chapin, 20, Madison Mogen, 21, Xana Kernodle, 20, and Kaylee Goncalves, 21, have been confirmed as the four individuals who were found dead near the University of Idaho campus on Sunday.
The student were friends on social media accounts and Mr Chapin and Ms Kernodle were said to be in a relationship.
Ms Kernodle, who was from Idhao, posted to a birthday message to Mr Chapin on Instagram with the caption: “Life is so much better with you in it, love you!”
