Matt Hancock’s vicar says MP ‘neglected constituents’ by going on I’m a Celeb

The Rev Max Drinkwater hit out at Matt Hancock’s presence on ITV’s I’m a Celebrity and told people at St Mary’s, in Haverhill, Suffolk, that the local MP had ‘clearly neglected his constituents’

Slimy Matt Hancock faces a voters’ backlash after he was given an almighty pulpit rap by his local vicar.

The Rev Max Drinkwater hit out at the MP’s £400,000 I’m A Celeb stint. He said at St Mary’s, in Haverhill, Suffolk: “Our MP has clearly neglected his constituents by going into the jungle.”

Hancock will have to move heaven and earth to stay on as an MP after his local vicar tore into him for going on ITV’s I’m A Celeb.

The vicar wants him out of the jungle – and out of his MP’s job. He even used his sermon to blast Hancock, telling parishioners: “Our MP has quite clearly neglected his constituents by going into the jungle.”
