The legendary quarterback is well-liked and highly-respected figure for his insane amount of achievements on the field whilst seemingly being much beloved by all of his former teammates… but did fall out with one in particular
Tom Brady will, quite clearly, go down as the best quarterback in NFL history. With seven Super Bowl championships in his 23 seasons, Brady is atop of the pedestal when it comes to greatness for what he’s achieved in the game.
And whilst it seems like a lifetime ago now, Brady was once joined by arguably the greatest wide receiver of all-time, in what would become one of the greatest regular season teams of all-time.
Randy Moss decided to join the Patriots in 2007 at the age of 30 with many believing the former Minnesota Vikings great to be past his best. This, coming after a disappointing season with the Oakland Raiders. But Moss would go on to have one of the greatest seasons of all-time, setting an NFL record 23 touchdowns and registering 1,493 yards as the Patriots would go on to a 16-0 season – the first team ever to do so.
The Patriots would make it to the Super Bowl, but ultimately fell to the New York Giants, with the famous ‘Helmet Catch’ seeing them drive up the field to score the game-winning touchdown, scored by Plaxico Burress, thrown by Eli Manning.
