The grandad, 74, said: 'It's just taking the piss. "It's been ongoing for a few months. There have been times when they've parked the car on the entirety of the pavement, so no-one can get past. 'There was a Range Rover with all four wheels on the pavement. "Anyone going past - bikes, pushchairs or whatever, you'd have to go on the grass or the road. 'It's just inconsiderate. They're just a bit pig-ignorant, really. 'It doesn't take much to realise the safety issues of parking a car entirely on the pavement. 'It's just been going on for far too long and I've had enough of it.' Under the law, parking on pavements isn't illegal. The Highway Code says motorists outside London 'should not' park on pavements - rather than 'must not'. Lindsay, who has lived in Ashdown Close since 1978, said: 'It's all about being reasonable, isn't it? It's just exasperating. 'I've had to take things into my own hands by taking pictures." But one neighbour hit back at Lindsay, saying he never spoke to her about her guests parking over the pavement. Mum-of-four Omowunmi Oduwole said: 'I'm a very quiet, nice person - I don't cause any trouble. If anyone has a problem, they should have come and asked. 'If my friends have parked badly outside my house, then just come and tell me. 'Nobody has ever said anything to me about it. 'I'm going to say to my friends 'can you park properly?'
