Republicans blasted for ‘disappointing’ results

Republicans have been slammed for their performance in the US midterm elections by a US political expert amid disappointing results for the Great Old Party. Speaking to Express.co.uk Simon Dolan, political commentator and author of Trump: The Hidden Halo, said that the poor results were a reflection of the Republican Party given the unpopularity of President Joe Biden. He said: “Democrats’ better-than-expected performance in the midterms is likely to lead to increased confidence in the Biden Administration.”In their eye, this is a referendum on Biden, a referendum which they will claim, he has won.”Whichever side you are on you can’t argue against the fact that this was a disappointing night for the Reps.”That a semi coherent, divisive Biden who is presiding over the worst economy in decades still seems to have support can only be an indictment on the Reps.
