King Charles and other military members are in no hurry to replace Queen Elizabeth’s insignia, and will only do so when supplies run out.
The Ministry of Defense has confirmed military regalia featuring Her Majesty will be phased out gradually so as not to waste expensive stock.
It comes after His Majesty was pictured wearing a military overcoat and cap with his mother’s initials on his lapels at the Cenotaph yesterday.
New recruits are still being issued uniforms with the late monarch’s initials on the lapels, as they were ordered before her death in September.
