This is compounded by the political situation of Vladimir Putin appearing to be weaker than before. Earlier this month, Ukraine managed a symbolic victory in the retaking of the city of Kherson and is now expected to push south towards Crimea. North Korea's only true ally is China and it is hoped it will work to keep its neighbours in check as nuclear fears increase.
