Family’s plea for information 25 years after schoolgirl murdered on dog walk

NEWS… BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT

The brother of a schoolgirl murdered 25 years ago has begged anyone with information to come forward and help bring her killers to justice.

Kate Bushell, 14, suffered a fatal knife wound to her throat just yards from her home in Exwick, Exeter, Devon, on November 15, 1997.

The teenager’s body was discovered by her father, Jerry, in a field off Exwick Lane at 7.30pm – three hours after she left her home in Burrator Drive to walk a friend’s dog.

A £20,000 reward has been offered by Crimestoppers for information which leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
