A cheeky monkey in Bangladesh attempted to steal man’s best friend by adopting a young puppy and carrying it off into the treetops.
The incredible scenes captured in Dhaka show the primate scooping the tiny dog up in its arms and taking it on a walk through the woods in a local park.
The monkey can be seen petting and stroking his new friend just like humans do, before whisking it off into the trees for a cuddle.
Although this monkey probably meant well, the incident is just the latest in a series of unusual meetings between the two species which don’t always end well.
