She captioned the video: "The horror nail salon experience resulting in ONLY wearing Kmart nails forever." In her first video, Beth explained that she almost had to have her thumb amputated and now she only wears press-on nails as a result. The woman visited a new nail salon before the pandemic, but was immediately concerned when the staff members sharing and swapping equipment without any sanitisation in-between uses. Beth said she thought it was normal because 'everyone else seemed to be going with the flow', so she didn't seem too worried - until the next evening, when her nails began to 'really ache'. She suspected an ingrowing nail at first, but then it began to get more red and she couldn't apply pressure to the finger. When she went round to her mum's a couple of days later, she pointed out that her thumb looked really sore. She said: "It wasn't until I went to pick up a mug and literally dropped it because of the pressure on my thumb - I've never felt pain like it." In part two of the horrific tale, Beth detailed how she drove to the hospital to get it checked out, and on the way she began to feel unwell.
