Mick Schumacher appears set to be axed from Formula One as Haas opt to bring Nico Hulkenberg back to full-time racing, according to German newspaper Bild. Reports from the German outlet suggest Hulklenberg could sign his new contract on Tuesday. They also claim an official announcement will be made on Wednesday ahead of the season finale in Abu Dhabi. Hulkenberg stepped away from a full-time race seat at the end of the 2019 season. However, he returned in 2020 to replace Sergio Perez at Racing Point when the Mexican caught coronavirus. He also stepped in for Sebastian Vettel at Aston Martin for the same reason in the opening two races this season. Mick Schumacher looks set to be axed at Haas (Image: Getty)
