Legendary singer-songwriter Joni Mitchell has revealed to Sir Elton John that she’s planning the release of a surprise live album.
The Both Sides Now singer, 79, made a special guest appearance on Sir Elton’s Apple Music podcast, Rocket Hour.
Mitchell hasn’t made regular appearances since suffering a brain aneurysm in 2015, which left her temporarily unable to walk and talk.
The serious injuries she incurred also left her unable to play the guitar for a while, but she made a triumphant return to the stage in July this year.
