David Dimbleby makes subtle Boris Johnson dig during Remembrance Day coverage

BBC viewers claim presenter David Dimbleby got Boris Johnson’s name wrong on purpose while the former Prime Minister appeared at the Cenotaph in London – and suggested it could be down to him being a secret rock fan

BBC viewers have spotted David Dimbleby throwing ‘shade’ at Boris Johnson during the Remembrance Day parade coverage.

The veteran presenter, 84, was hosting the channel’s live coverage from Whitehall as the King led the commemorations at the Cenotaph for the first time.

As former prime ministers attended the service, David was heard name checking each former government leader, saying: ” John Major and Sir Tony Blair, Gordon Brown just behind, David Cameron on the left there.”

But when it came to mentioning Boris Johnson, he incorrectly called him ‘Brian Johnson’ instead.
