The Green Bay Packers have had a nightmare season after trading away superstar receiver Davante Adams as they sit with a 3-6 record with their 2022 campaign in tatters
Aaron Rodgers has been accused of holding the Green Bay Packers “captive” in a brutal claim against the legendary quarterback.
It’s been a rough year for Rodgers and the Packers, currently sitting with one of the worst records in the NFL with a 3-6 record after their recent loss to the struggling Detroit Lions, whilst losing key players to injuries in the past few weeks.
The Packers made a big gamble this past off-season when they decided to trade away superstar receiver Davante Adams, Rodgers’ most trusted target. Adams was sent to the Las Vegas Raiders for a first and second round draft pick, as the Raiders would give him a five-year contract extension along with a hefty salary – which Green Bay had not been willing to match.
It’s a gamble that has not paid off, with none of their receivers, including high-draft pick Christian Watson, have been able to step up in Adams’ place.
